What is ERIP?
The Enhanced Readiness Innovation Platform (ERIP) is a structured approach to threat preparedness that goes beyond compliance-based training. Most active threat programs teach people what to do. ERIP focuses on why people fail to act — and builds the cognitive and behavioral architecture to change that.
ERIP draws from behavioral science, stress inoculation research, and real-world incident analysis to design training that actually transfers to performance when it counts. The platform is built for organizations that understand the difference between checking a box and building genuine capability.
Baseline Awareness, LLC
Baseline Awareness, LLC is the parent organization behind ERIP. Founded on the principle that awareness is not a passive state but an active, trainable skill, Baseline Awareness develops curriculum and methodology for law enforcement, security professionals, and civilian organizations.
The name reflects the core concept: a baseline is a pattern. Threat recognition, decision-making under stress, and the probability of courageous action all depend on the ability to detect meaningful departures from that baseline — and to respond before the window closes.
